Tom Blizzard, a man whose age seems to defy the usual laws of physics — somewhere between seventy and ageless — still finds joy in coming to the store every day to connect with customers and employees alike. He’s often the first to arrive and almost always the last to leave. Although his brothers, J.D. and Henry, have passed on, Mr. Tom continues to prioritize relationships over purely transactional interactions — just as they did all those years ago. For more than six and a half decades, families have come to Blizzard Building Supply for quality building materials — and have kept returning for the exceptional service and lasting relationships. Today, generations continue to rely on Blizzard, extending a tradition of trust and loyalty that spans decades. That kind of deep-rooted customer loyalty doesn’t just happen — it’s earned year in and year out through integrity, reliability, and a commitment to doing right by people.
